In a session organized by the ICOH Scientific Committees on Effectiveness of OH Services (SCEOHS) and on Education and training (SCETOH) a lecture has been given on scientific evaluation of education in OSH. There are only few evaluation studies published in the last decades.
Otherwise, the studies published show many innovations end are inspiring.
New educational forms like e-lessons and e-courses, the flipped class room and other forms of interactive blended education are needing evaluation.
In addition, different scientific approaches in the evaluation of education can be discussed on pros and cons. Innovation is needed. Examples are given.
