International Master course Occupational Safety and Health, ITC-ILO, University of Turin

The University of Turin, Italy, offers in partnership with the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITC ILO) a Master course in Occupational Safety and Health (one-year program, in English). The program includes an Internet-based distance learning phase, a face-to-face residential period in Turin, and a distance phase to prepare the dissertation. The next course is from 09 September 2019 – 30 September 2020. We recommend to ask information for the course starting next year, 2020.

Learning objectives, participants will be able to:

  • Organize the efforts of an enterprise to improve its OSH
  • Formulate, implement and evaluate a safety and health management system for an enterprise
  • Manage the resources to conduct all prevention activities
  • Advise employers and workers on OSH

The course is designed for a variety of disciplines: hygienists, physicians, chemists, engineers, inspectors, practitioners and officers with a university degree but without previous specialization in OSH, who are working, or wish to work, as OSH specialists.
